Jane Heinig Returns to Washington!
If you have attended a
presentation from Jane Heinig in the past – you will recall what an engaging
and memorable speaker she is! If you haven’t heard her before – you won’t want
to miss her this time! Both new and more experienced nutrition educators are
highly encouraged to attend one of these regional trainings.
Do these concerns
sound familiar?
“He’s very picky.”
“Snacks in the car are
the only way to keep her quiet.”
“He has to have a
bottle of milk at bedtime or he won’t sleep.”
“She throws a tantrum
if I don’t give her juice.”
“I just want him to
eat.”
The Toddler years can
be especially challenging feeding years. The child is growing up, using their
voice, and developing so rapidly. Parents often have unrealistic ideas about
what mealtime and feeding should be like with a toddler. Dr. Heinig will explain
how we can influence caregiver thoughts and beliefs about toddler feeding and
eating. By influencing these thoughts and beliefs, we can change caregiver
actions and ultimately have a positive impact on a child’s nutritional intake!
